How about a nice leather cream that's non oily but at the same time will keep the leather soft and supple which in turn should stop prevent further cracking ....

Colonite vinyl and leather wax works great. I use it maybe every 2nd or 3rd week on my interior.

Does it leave s sticky/oily residue? i only ask because its a wax?

Heard nothing but good things about the Colonite brand though.....

Nope you apply, let it dry and wipe it off with a microfiber towel. Leaves a nice matt finish. Works wonders on the seats and dashboard. Sometimes I like to leave my car in the sun for a while after applying so that it really seeps into the leather.

Really? I never had a problem, but I'll keep that in mind next time:thumbs: I normally apply a coat of Smart leather cleaner and conditioner to clean the leather before applying the colonite. Keeps the leather moist and has a nice natural leather smell to it. This I use almost weekly to clean the leather.

I have always used the actual BMW leather cleaner and lotion.

Bit pricey, but works wonders, no residue and smells just like a new car.

Beats the sun blindfolded!
