bmw specification list

hi Guys,

need a bit of help from those in the know, i remember seeing a website on here that you could check your BMW specifications list that the car left the factory with via the chassis number

for eg, paint codes, trim codes and any extras etc..

i know its not real oem cos that will give you part numbers and so on.. this is different...

bit of a late post but did you ever find out what feature this was?mine also has trailer coupling preperation but no idea what it is,i dont see any hidden towbar on my vehicle
