BMW shopping

Hi guys,

So I am in the market for a new car. I am looking at getting my first BMW. So basically budget is R110k. I am looking at:
1. E87 120i/d
2. E90 320i/d
Can I get a decent car for that price? How reliable are they if kept properly? What should I look out for? Any other models?

I would look at the diesels and forget about the petrols. You will be able to bag a good E87 120d or E90 320d for that money. There seems to be a very good E90 for sale in the For Sale section for under R100k. Looks well maintained. Kilos on the high side but should not worry about the kms too much.

Yeah, Km don't fase me all too much. I have some experience working on cars as well as owning an engineering shop. I could do most things myself, but obviously I would prefer a more reliable car as it would be a daily. Definitely would prefer a diesel. More power and better fuel economy.
