1:13 - the way the driver and passenger is flung out of a car gives us a glimpse of what has happened in so many accidents where people have been killed by being flung onto oncoming cars, rocks and just the physical make up of the area.

It is an eye opener as to how important safety belts are - for every occupant in the car.

What is also so amazing in the video is how much was really put in to BMW's safety so long ago! And the 'rocket launch' technology to send cars to high speeds!

These are the reasons why I would always buy a German/European car as opposed to it's eastern copy.

I can hardly move my car out of the garage into the driveway to wash it without wearing my seatbelt - it's a form of habit and I actually feel uncomfortable if I am not wearing my seatbelt!
