Mine is a e90 LCI 325i 2009 and I did not get a recall

That's correct, mine was done last month when it was in for service.

As always I stand to be corrected: when mine was recoded the maintenance plan work carried out was as usual written off against the maintenance plan account but the recode was not on there, it was on its own invoice written off against the warranty account not the maintenance plan account. Also when the car was booked in JSN referred to it as a recall. It's minor nonetheless but I like my windscreen wipers to work when I need them :=): Also I postulate that they will write off the rustbucket they call a drivers seat which they fitted to mine against the warranty as well when they eventually source one.

I called the call centre today. They didn't inform me. Mine has a recall for the power cable. I actually experienced power loss to my radio twice in the last week, which must be related to the cable.

I have a problem with BMW, my car is part of a recall regarding a faulty power cable of sorts. Power gets cut to various parts of the vehicle. :| . The problem is that there is no stock of this part in SA (apparently). They say it takes a few weeks for the part to arrive. Ive experienced some problems already regarding power loss. Anyone experienced this? What are the risks? Or know of which BMW may have stock.

Have there been any on the F10? My dad's wipers were also doing funny things - the auto rain sensor didn't always work. But after the "service" they worked fine. wondering if it was a recode that they just didn't tell us about...

Mine went in for a recall for the battery terminal wires that were getting damaged for some odd reason, cant remember fully but it involved some friction.

the diesels was not affected in this recall, so my car is not included.
