I recently purchased a 2007 BMW 325ci E92, the car has only 78000km and is perfect inside and out, so I am willing to spend some money if I can attain what I am looking for,which leads me to my question. I love the sound from the exhaust of a M series so I was wondering if putting a performance exhaust on would give me an similar noise or would I be just wasting money ?

I did a secondary cat delete and muffler delete on mine. Sounded pretty good. Deep, sporty tone, with lots of backfire and burbles. Video clips on my old showroom thread (see signature)
The 135i backbox mod is a popular choice as well.
