Can anyone point me to any reliable literature on the expected power gains from this exhaust?

Its for those that want an exhaust without having motorplan issues.

This is a very good price if you have the cash... And you'll probably get the same gains, however minimal, from any other aftermarket option.

The pro's and con's of motorplan.
Does the exhaust include the exhaust manifold?

I have recently replaced the standard exhaust with JCW/magnaflow (not sure which) and got 23kw extra plus a whole load of expensive noise :). But then, considering the standard exhaust manifold, I am not surprised.

I suppose the stock setup on the mini must be extremely restrictive, to get those gains.
Was it coupled with software?

We haven't tested isolated gains on bmw's performance system, but it works well, together with a host of other mods on the 335.

I will search for some litetature, other than bmws own.. I'm sure someone has done thorough testing.

Yes, the mini stock is very restrictive. I have the Dasteq unichip and that added about 9kw on top of the exhaust gains.

I was just a bit surprised to hear a BMW performance exhaust and the nothing to get excited about gain wise..:)

If you start with lets say 230kw, then 7-10kw is nothing to get excited about.
Point taken.
Thanks Revo.
