BMW Performance Exhaust for 135i

Does anyone know if the OEM performance exhaust from BMW is the same across both the N54 and N55 motors? i.e. will one removed from an N55 work with an N54?

I do they have different mid pipes! im not too sure about the back box thou.
N54 performance mid pipes have had the silencer removed, but the two kittys are still there. The N55 standard mid pipes are kittyless but it has the silencer!

From what I know, only the mid sections differ bud, ow gimme the zorst

The n55 mid pipes will just be louder than the n54 mid pipes.

What motor is yours?

I know someone who had an n54 and put the n55 mid pipes on his car and it sounded great.

They are the same AFAIK :thumbs: Midpipes are different though. Call BMW to confirm :thumbs:
