bmw performance brake disks

while i was at bmw today i asked the guys there for pricing on the drilled and slotted rotors for the 135. I was surprised when the general opinion was these cannot be used with the std caliper. i would need the yellow performance callipers.
I really hope this is not true as I like the look of the rotors but i would prefer to keep the calipers grey as they are. i dont like the yellow.I think it would be cool on the car.
Anyone know if this is true or not?

Its not true because the yellow callipers are exactly the same as the ones on the 135I just differant colour. The only think that I know is that BMW sells it as a compleat kit with disc, callipers, pads and dust plate.

I know the kit option but dont see the point. im hoping the rotors are available as a seperate option. The y should be as you would need to buy them as spares when they wear.
It would be nice if BMW could give answers based in fact not opinion.

Sounds like a bullshot story from the Stealers.

On my E90 LCI, the part number is:
#:11, Description: Ventilated-perforated brake disc P/N:34116786392 ,price $189.00.

AS this is individually priced, it is not sold as a kit, and you CAN buy the perforated brake disc by itself.

I have also thought about doing this, but the price is a bit crazy. Maybe worth finding a totalled 135i or other performance specced car, and taking them off, and paying a fraction of the cost for this.

@roboman - You can get the discs separately, but be warned, they are very expensive.:dropjaw: I bought a complete set for my e46 330i. I will PM you the prices if you're interested.
