Hi Guys ,

Are any of you are running the aftermarket BMW performance exhaust on your M3's

Is it worth the effort and financial outlay? I don't exhaust want to run any bolt on or other NON BMW approved exhaust on my ///M as yet due to motorplan.

What are you guys thoughts and experience

just got a quote now from Autobahn for R31k for the performance.

i would prefer the schnitzer , lets see how it plays out.

i am looking for a system with no drone. some good sound on take off and calms down when driving. I was told the performance exhaust can do this.

Then do the OEM Performance Mod and save a shit load of cash. All the benefits you want with no drone etc. BMW dont care about just changing the rear back box and I have that in writing from BMW SA. When you change the full system they shit themselves.

I did the OEM mod and it sounds great. Its got a nice aggressive deep tone and NO drone.

I love the tone when it cold starts. This mod works great with DCT as I can clearly hear every upshift and downshift now.

The upgrade was done in 30 mins and I got a modded rear silencer fitted in and kept my original.

The back box looks totally OEM from underneath as the welding is on top and not visible.

Again , thanks to the guys responsible Sherwin and Alistair ( I can mention your names as you are forum sponsors). Also M3 FTW for the idea
