bmw m235i "manual"

Hi everyone.

I've recently joined this forum but have been a bmw lover all my life.

Just some history- I've had a bmw 325i coupe (e92), a bmw 320d (e90), 2012 bmw 120d (f20) and 3x 2002-4 e46 m3's at particular times with the others.

My first post is in relation to my new car that I've just ordered a few days ago and which I will be picking up on the 2nd of January 2016.

It an m235i.

The car is mineral grey in colour with coral red interior and has the following optional extras:
Sunroof, front and rear pdc, xenons , reverse cam, Prof navigation, Intrument cluster with extended contents, headlamp washers and a few others.

I'd like to know the thoughts of everyone/m235i owners on the car and more specifically on the manual version?

The M235i in manual is a rare choice indeed. When I was looking at one in August I was told that only 2 (so far) were spec'ed with a manual box so it'll be a rare choice indeed.

I've driven the manual and it was great, just like it was in my previous E82 model.

P.S. Mineral grey is a fantastic colour! The car you bought isn't the one in EL by chance is it?

Do you have any knowledge in relation to the m performance steering with race display? Is it worth it?

Welcome bud and congrats on your purchase . I'm sure you can't wait till collection date .

I have a manual M135i and cannot fault the box at all. It's a great feel and rare indeed.

With regards to the M performance steering wheel , it's likely to set you back around R15k+ , although it does look and presents some awesome functionality . More so, that you can view oil and water temps (amongst the many other cool features, lap timing, 0-100, g force etc) as there are no gauges on dash.

Hi Bud,

I have an M135i albeit in auto and always wonder what the manual would be like. Great choice in colour.

Only one suggestion, fit the M Performance exhaust, it is simply amazing!!!
