Hi , is there maybe anyone on the forum that has done a hybrid turbo of the stock on the bmw m135i that i could contact about advice ?

Speak to Gaby from Fastec Turbos.

he can advise as i know he has done a few turbos.

You have pm, also scout around on babybmw.net. It's a UK forum but there is tons on info there on at least 2 members running Hybrid turbos and their cars are seriously fast

Do you need software done if you just hybrid turbo?

James speak to leon (frnr) he did my 135i and i gained about 40hp without changing any settings on the jb.Turnaround for the job was 1week.

FYI.. Gaby doesnt remove the turbo from the car.. you need to strip the turbo off the car and take it in to him
