Fitted this cooler on my father's F30 328i.
Really good quality and easy fitment.

Haven't had the chance to check intake temps yet, but will post results here as soon as I've tested it.

Also planning to get this cooler. Does it change the car dynamically Ferdi? Any observations from the drivability side?

The cooler was fitted when the car was still stock. Admittedly the difference wasn't massive since the stock cooler didn't battle too much to keep intake temps within a reasonable range.

The car now has software and that now gives a better indication of how well the cooler works.

Back to back runs feel super consistent. More so than my 330d with N54 cooler, for instance.

With your car now being modded I'm sure intake temps will be sky high (most N55 owners complain about that), so this cooler should help quite a bit.

Just as an example, after my car got the DP+Stage 2 done, we had some dyno runs done.
The first produced 316wkw, and second run 301wkw.
We then let the car cool done a bit, and poured some water over the intercooler to bring the temps done a bit.
The third run then produced 317wkw.

That's an indication of the effects of a better intercooler especially after your car is producing more power than stock.

out of interest, assuming that your car was not running when you poured water on the intercooler. Which temps were you bringing down? The aim of the cooler is to get the compressed air temperatures down. IMHO, there is no use pouring water on the cooler if there is no compressed air passing through it.

Yes sorry, the water wasn't thrown directly into the intercooler.
It was used after the second run to allow the car to cool down a bit faster to allow the last run to be closer to the conditions on the first run.
In no way was it to keep the car cooler during the run.
The results showed that if I had an upgraded intercooler, it would allow for more consistent power between runs,

Doesn’t take long at all. Less than an hour

Unfortunately they don’t come
In silver.
If I can get enough requests for silver I’m sure I can arrange with the manufacturer.

As for the the dust covers, not a dust cover as such but there is plastic cover that needs to be removed to fit the cooler.

Hi guys

Got this cooler and what an awesome product and service from Danny!

Installed this on a M235i and what an easy install:bravo: did not have to cut anything and bolted straight in without removing the front bumper! Simply pulled up the fan shroud and it went right in.

Did logs prior to and after the cooler. Both logs done with outside temps around 13 degrees, in manual mode in 3rd gear from around 2000 rpm.

Stock cooler IAT starts at 40 degrees and at the top of 5th gear it was at 77 degrees:skit::skit:

Cooler fitted IAT starts at 31 degrees and at the top of 5th gear it was at 36 degrees:bravo::bravo::bravo:

Even did logs with outside temps at 24 degrees and still IAT did not go over 38 degrees! Highest I saw on 3 back to back runs was 40 degrees!

Super happy with this cooler and would like to thank Danny for all the help and awesome service! He is always willing to help no matter the problem.
