There was only a recall on the E46 M3 AFAIK. The E6x and E9x were just replaced under plan if there was knocking I guess, otherwise BMW said nothing and let ppl find out for themselves :facepalm: - Most buyers don't even know about this happening. So you'll have to rely on previous owners knowledge to gauge whether the bearings were changed or not.
