Bmw e90 VS X1

Hi Guys,

I am currenty looking around for a new car and im stuck between a 2011 E90 320D sportpack and a 2011 x1 2.0D.

I bought a 2008 BMW X3 a while back for the space and boot but we dont even use half of the space available as it is just me, my wife and 8weeks son.

What will you guys suggest will be better buy regarding after market sales and just general comfort? My wife will be using the car 70% of the time and il be cleaning, vacuuming, maintaining it the other 30% lol:biglol:

X1 in my opinion is the one to get I . Its more practical, chicks generally like the higher driving position and if you have an 8 week old son, then a tail gate is better than a boot for prams and other kiddy equipment.

I'd say X1 since your wife will be using it.

I agree that the X1 will be more practical compared to the boot of the E90, its just a tough choice tho lol:fencelook:

It is a tough decision as the X1 is not the prettiest of cars, especially compared to an e90. If the wife has to drive it, then let her choose :=):

You have the X3 to lug the kids stuff... Had the E90 and is a much better option regarding style and quality. Let the missus drive the X3 and get yourself a nice 330D

That E90 is a looker. You should go for the X1 if she's going to be using it most of the time - as you said.

Both have a pretty hard suspension...so i would choose the e90. If the X1 had a great suspension such as the facelifted X1 then i would have gone X all the way. :thumbs:
