BMW E90 glow plugs

Hi there guys
Anyone here change glow plugs on your E90.
This is what mine looks like and had to be changed because it came up as a fault.
Do they look bad or is ine unable to make a judgement just by looking at it

Frankly I wouldnt worry about the glow plugs. Our climate doesnt really dictate the need for the plugs... It never gets cold enough that they're required

Mine were changed on MP long ago but was done due to fault, was told not necessary in SA
