BMW e90 323i having loud noise

Hello. Guys. I am new here. I have a problem  with my BMW e90 323i. It has some funny  sounds coming from the engine. The car is pulling nice. Could it be the chain guide tensioner or chain slide rail?

How funny are the sounds hey?
Do they make you LOL or LMAO or LMFAO?


Maybe its your valve lifters? When last was the oil change service?
Try the lifter bleed process to confirm if it is the lifters. Quick google N52 lifter bleeding process.

That's some horrible sounds there. I do hear that slight lifter ticking. It's difficult to pin something from the video. As far as I know, the chain will cause a rattle.
Maybe a better video?
I dont suggest you drive it until you figure out the issue and fix.

Tow it in to a reputable mech.
