A few weeks back, I received a call from Mo, asking if we’d be able to assist with fitting new suspension components on his brother’s BMW E90 320d.
They had already sourced all the required parts and were looking for someone to fit them.

The vehicle came in for the following:
Front:

Once the vehicle was dropped off with all the parts, we got started:
✅ Fitted interior protection (steering wheel + driver’s seat)
✅ Moved the car onto the lift and removed all four wheels
Front Suspension:

🚗 Results & Feedback
The old shocks were completely worn out and leaking, providing little to no damping.
After fitting the new Bilstein setup, the ride quality saw a massive improvement — tighter handling, better road feel, and overall more confidence behind the wheel.
The new engine mounts also made a noticeable difference, significantly reducing cabin vibration and engine harshness.
Hamza (the owner) came to collect the car, When I messaged him to find out how's it going, his exact words :
"Car is driving heleva lekker. Don’t know how I was driving it all this time!"
Needless to say, that made our day.

- New Bilstein shocks
- Shock mounts
- Stabilizer (sway bar) end links
- New Bilstein shocks
- Rear top mounts
- Stabilizer (sway bar) end links
- Replacement of both engine mounts
🛠️ Installation Process
Once the vehicle was dropped off with all the parts, we got started:
✅ Fitted interior protection (steering wheel + driver’s seat)
✅ Moved the car onto the lift and removed all four wheels
Front Suspension:
- Removed both front struts
- Swapped over coil springs, spring pads, dust boots, bump stops, and top plates
- Installed everything onto the new Bilstein front shocks with fresh mounts
- Fitted new stabilizer end links and reinstalled the struts
- Stripped the boot lining
- Removed and replaced the rear shocks, top mounts, and stabilizer links
- Supported the engine
- Removed both worn mounts and replaced them with the new units
- Reinstalled all lower undertrays and refitted the wheels
🔋 Diagnostics & Final Checks
- Placed the vehicle on battery charge while wrapping up
- Ran full diagnostics, cleared stored fault codes.
