Hi guys.. I have a e87 2005 120i.
I have bought second hand.. seems like the catalytic converter was opened and emptied.
Right so now I need to know
1.replace the catalytic converter
Or can I run the car without it Mayne get a cat fooler
2.diag scan error code p0139.. so do I replace the o2 sensor or is it because there is not catalytic guts

I'm in Durban so if someone could recommend me to someone who can help I would be very grateful.

This car is sucking fuel and I have had the timing gears and sprokets and guids and vandos gears replaced so basically
The timing gears all new Top to Bottom.
Even the oil pump section was completely done.

Please someone help me desperately in need

hallo, I don't think any of these will really help to get the car less thirsty to be honest. On a trip down to the coast, fuel economy on my 125i ( 6pot) vs the E90, 320i ( same motor as yours ) was the same. The only really economical BMW engines would be the X20D and/or X30D engines.

Hello

In town your consumption should be 9-10l per 100km.
On the open road you should get easily get as low as 7l per 100km.

Cheers
