Sorry Abmi, didn't mean to brag :flyfun: its just an example of error progressiveness as the speed increases. It's huge over read at high speed.

All good buddy

What is quite cool is the true GPS speed though. Abmi, I think the best would be the Garmin upgrade, I can't find anything either.

So I checked my speedo this morning versus the GPS real time speed and it is significantly different to what I get on the Garmin.

I knew that when I upgraded to 20" wheels, the error would be less or slightly under read in the car. I generally have about a 2-3km/h variance on the Garmin with my car under reading so I can no longer set the cruise control to 130km/h as I would naturally be over.

According to the car's navigation, at 100-120km/h I am in average of 10km/h out which means that I am often over the speed limit. I get fines but marginally over the limit.

Whacko, what is it for you in comparison?

I get maybe two to three k's variance between the garmin and the beemer, but the galaxy s2 and the beemer are almost identical. I think it might be the sample time and updates to speed, the garmin seems to be more responsive to speed variance. On 319 the heads up displayed 345, the garmin read 323 and the beemer and galaxy both showed 319. On 120 I get 118 on the beemer nav display.

Brag gat :tease:

I will check again this afternoon when going home as the roads are quiter. Will see if it takes a few seconds longer to iron itself out. :thumb:

In fact if you delimit you'd propably get that speed as well. Lots of torque on the 550i
