so I attended my first BMW driving experience at Killarney racetrack. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience , after the very informative lectures and car handling tips [also makes one realise your bad habits ], we were let on to the track with the various current M cars , yes even the new AWD M5 . Part of the proceedings was a drag race with identical M3 cars , to my surprise I posted the fastest time of the day,[must be all those late night TLGP trying to keep up with the new hot hatches and turbo BM's with old model m 's] , the first prize ...... taking the M4 DTM champion edition for two laps around the track , and then being taken around for a hot lap by the instructor, that car is really on another level performance wise , my first time on racetrack so I was sort of pussy footing around , my favourite car of the day , the M2 [would of liked to sample a manual] , my idea of a car to own that would flatter and scare you at the same time , the F10 M5 , in a drag race with the new M 5 , that car looses traction and goes side ways spectacularly when it hooks third gear , I think the new one , though very fast , seems to soft with that autobox , an all weather very grippy car , faster than F10 ,but not as visceral and exciting as the F10.
