I think the reason most BMW drivers appear to be rude is cause we get pissed off by all the other drivers that drive like shit, and we worry that they are going to bump our cars. :nono:
I only managed to afford my first BMW at the age of 30. I worked my ass off to afford it,
and love the brand. In my career I've driven everything, every make, model, shape size...
and BMW stays the best. :thumbsup:
When you drive in a BMW you feel like a king, and I think it reflects to the outside,
thus the other road users get jealous, cut in front of us, drive slow to annoy us, :cursin:
change lanes without signalling, scratch our babies in parking areas,
hoot and swear and give us the finger when ever we do anything they don't agree with. :banghead:
I think we must retaliate by screaming to whomever annoys us in future:
"YES I drive a BMW, deal with it!! Stuff your jealous attitude!! for I am a BMW fanatic!!"

Finally someone said it. I too believe that it makes little to no difference at all. A doos in one car will be a doos in another make no mistake about it.

Problem is, there would be very few honest answers and you'll have a similar end result anyways - imo

I mostly agree with everyone, but somewhere the stats should fall in favor of the car the person drives, even by 0.01%. For instance... we CAN go and make accurate assumptions about anyone driving a MPV, and it will probably be true for 6/10 people driving MPV, and the other 4/10 will def not like being label with the same stereotype. That said, I have seen more BMW drivers yellow lining than others. But barely. There are Audi and Merc drivers that yellow line. There are many different cars that tailgate, but mostly I see BMW drivers tailgating. Most BMW drivers are super nice on the road, but this poll isn't about us. Its about the bad ones which are unfortunately more likely to be in a BMW. I do not feel offended by this, because I know how stats work (or how the do not work) and I know that I am not part of that group.
I know alot of people that use their BMW as an extension of their privates, because every answer they give is "Atleast I have a beamer". But buying any other car doesn't automatically make you an idiot. It just means you have different expectations from the car.

Other stereotypes which aren't ALWAYS true, but mostly:
- Getz drivers have nowhere to go, because they are constantly sleeping in the car instead of driving.
- Citi drivers always think they are faster than BMW's, and thats the reason we hate them.
- Taxi's break every rule.
- Double-cab bakkies, and especially Fortunars think they have race cars and drive way to fast for something that has an ox-wagon suspension.
- Woman drivers are bad, irregardless of the mode of transport.
- Old cars are for people whose life didn't turn out quite right. (the exception is the guy that has a crock of **** for a car, and rather spends the money for his 4mil house which he is paying off in 5 years.)
- Honda drivers are OLD pensioners.
- Mercs are for middle age oaks.
- Micras are for people that love dung beatles.
- French cars are for people that didn't bother reading up on reliability stats.
- Korean cars are for people that are super cheap.
- Lexus.... OWG, who buys an expensive toyota!!! :hammerhead:
- Minis are for hair dressers and homosexuals.

I know people that do not fall into these stereotypes... same goes for us.

Just remember, the BMW stereotype is slowly fading away!!!

Was Driving in PTA today... WTF! :cursin:

Saw 4 guys go through red robots in front of me. I don't mean they just missed the light, talking bout 1-2 seconds of being red before entering the intersection! :slap:

I did notice something that made me ponder: WWCD... What Would Coisman Do? It'll be in his law thread.

Yes, and the same idiot taxi driver that goes through the robot before it is green... Thats why there are so many people killed by taxi drivers...

I think that if you job is transporting people, and you get in an accident, then man slaughter should not even be on the table, it should be murder!!!
