Do NOT try this with KZN Provincial Officers. They always have the necessary documentation. Don't ask me how I know :fencelook:

Hz, well done. can you clarify a few things.......how often does the machine need to be calibrated ( how long is the cert valid for, once issued ) and similarly for the officer operating the machine.
Often the operator doesn't pull the motorist over, and the paperwork is handled by this second officer.......how does one deal with this scenario? Cheers

So true, I've learnt when in Kzn to shut my trap and take it with Vaseline

Of course if you believe you are not in the wrong then you should speak up, but otherwise when in KZN or Mpumalanga for that matter, you should do as above ^^

This was so awesome, my dad has told me that he does this with the metro as well. Since I am always in the wrong I never ask for documentation for the fear of getting a worse fine.
