BMW Diesal oil breather replacement?

Nice post Ngoako7 :thumbs: where and what did you pay for your new breather? I did mine a month or 2 ago and paid R900 after 10% discount at BMW leo haese. Including the new housing and gasket seals.

Nice dude, where did you buy the Vortex one and how much did it set you back? I am looking for one aswell. I tried cleaning my "loo roll" and I must say the car does not smoke anymore like it used to but I still want to change it out.

I once had a E60 530d and it came without the loo or vortex type filter. Saw on Realoem that it did not have one listed so i bought a standard vortex one and had to cut a small groove into it to get it to fit. The next time i replaced the air filter i removed the vortex and have since taken out all the loo type filters i find on diesel cars in my family. No problems what so ever.
