BMW Connectivity

Hi Guys,

Please point me to the directions...
I got myself a 125i F20 yesterday...

It has BMW Connectivity (iDrive) - with USB interface & Bluetooth
-- my iPhone can't discover the car's bluetooth
-- my iPod & iPod also when I connect to the USB interface, I get the message " Not Supported "

Am I missing something? DO I need to configure some settings?
- normal USB stick get recognized (I can see tracks on iDrive) , also and AUX input works.

Anyone who knows... who can help with info ?

have you tried doing the pairing for the bluetooth from the idrive unit before trying to discover on the iphone?

also what Ipod do you have bro?
did you get the BMW ipod connect cable?

USB :
- iPod Nano 4G
- iPod Touch 4G

I was using my normal apple usb cable..

Bluetooth
- Apple iPhone 4 with iOS 7

I checked on BMW website using my car VIN... for compatible devices... and all my devices are listed as competible for that USB & Bluetooth features
