BMW Comfort Seats

I've just done close to 3000 KM's in my X5 this month with a trip to both Durban and Mpumalanga. While I've owned several BMW's before, this is my first one with comfort seats and, I must say that, until you've experienced them you have no idea what you're missing.

If you're in the lucky position of spec'ing your new BMW, I would urge you to consider the comfort seats. They are really the best option you can have in terms of luxury and comfort.

I'm usually a bit sore after a long trip, but after jumping out of the comfort seats you can really tell the difference it makes to you back and legs.

It does take a while to adjust them to your liking, as they have quite a few options to adjust, but once you get it right, it holds, hugs and supports you like a woman you've just given a diamond ring to :fencelook:

Hence the reason I am looking for a set of comforts on the E60

Is this a option on the F30 too? I cannot find it in the price list.

But the sport seats are pretty damn good...

as good as the sport seats are... comforts are better

Sport seats have very good lateral support to prevent you from sliding around, but cannot touch the comfort seats for .... errr .... comfort.

I have never experienced their........errr....comfort.

But I like the sport seats in the F30. I had normal seats in my E90.

Thing is.

Comforts can easily be converted into Sport with a few buttons, specially if they have the bolster adjustment.

I LOVE my comfort seats. I agree...you never know what you're missing until you have it. The previous 2 BMWs of mine were nowhere close to these. Comfort seats with active steering is such a bliss. You could fall asleep whilst I the middle of parallel parking :roflol:

But the lack of PDC keeps you awake.....don't ask.

The ultimate for me would be the Sport Contour seats, which combine the base of the Sport seat with the adjustable backrest of the Comfort seats.

I have never experienced the comfort seats. I have however experienced the woman/diamond thing, so according to msm, those seats must be REALLY comfy...
