I wonder if the 850 is a CSI, because it does have the right bumpers, tail pieces, mirrors and gearbox to be one

Not a CSI. CSI has the s70 which has an M badge on the intake/engine cover

100% 850 i, not even a ci. Although this has all the csi mods, bumpers, mirrors, tail pieces, wheels, even manual (the csi only came out in manual), however the engine cover and intakes give it away, this is not the 5.6 from a csi but the 5.0 liter from the i. ci's only came out in 1992, plus he has a 850i badge on the right of the boot and a ci badge on the left, they never came out like that. My opinion.
