Bought in 79 second hand with about 2000k on the clock
Only did about 50ks a weeks for 20 years, Then hardly used and put to pasture , Dad sold it in 2007 and I found it around 2008 and bought it back in worse than shocking condition It had 135000kms on the clock. I know the cable was broken when it was put to pasture so I assume the in between owner maybe did another 20000km in the time he had it

Now has 138000kms ,
Its only done 3000kms since its restoration in 2010.
Never to be sold, its in my will to my son.

Hey guys . I consider myself lucky to be a good friend of Luis. As cool and laid back as what he seems - the man is anal when it comes to his Beemster. It shows in the way that it looks. He lives by this - If it ain't got a BMW badge on it, it ain't going on the car. quite simple philosophy actually. Oh ya- did I mention that its clean? bling bling can learn from him.
