BMW 4 valve action 14000 rpm

Found this Vid online , I had never really seen a cars engine valve in action at high revs , Its frightening to watch ! Kind of feels as if they are stuck , but in actual fact the valves are moving .

Interesting to think that this is whats happening in our cars on a daily bases . Such intricate , precision machines , that we sometimes take for granted

That's epic. Good find. The 'slow-mo look' is similar to a wheel spinning forwards but looking like it's spin backwards.

Now imagine what stresses the crank must go through. At 14000 rpm it's spinning at 233,333333 revolutions per second!!!!!!!!
