Hi Guys,
Today en route to work with my friends we spotted a rather strange BMW 330d, the colour of that car seemed to be changing, especially when we put on our headlights...then the debate started as to whether the colour was changing or not, i dont know much about various paints used on cars and i kept mum...two guys were very adamant that it was the case...
But i would like know for a fact whether the paint used on 330D and 325i Bmws changes colour, or it was just our eyes playing tricks on us...

e46?
Because you could get some slight pearl paints (changes colour depending from where you are looking from) for the f/l e46's.

Ruby Red in the e90 indivuduals looks awesome...

If it was an e46, it could have the sepia blue!!

There is also one of the black paints for the e46 f/l that reflects slight magenta and/or green from different angles.
Not really a fan of pearl paints especially not aftermarket ones, plus I imagine its a total nightmare to respray and match.
The Lexus IS250 (I think thats the model, not sure) has a nice pearl paint though, white the reflects stightly blueish.

Not even the factory can get the paint matched between batches on that one...

That is one of my big problems with pearl paint, it is a panelbeater's nightmare and they will make it your nightmare, when you have to pay for 15 layers of paint plus the 500-600% markup.
The second it the aftermarket ones just looks to kommin, but just my opinion.

Sepia metallic paint, it was an Individual colour. At different angles it changes 3-4 different colours.
