BMW 325is

hi guys, i have been looking for BMW 325is for a while and came across one being advertised in limpopo at a dealership.... anyone know or seen this car? im trying to get the vin from dealership to verify from bmw...... im in cape town and dnt wanna waste my time if the car is not well worth it

Yep also remember calling the seller at a point in time and it was very suspect car was in pretoria at the time i think

the deal dont sound so cosure to me as well................. spoke to the seller and he wanted me to put down a deposit so i can secure the deal... so sounds funny n fishy so need to do some more intel. i asked him to give me the dealership name so i can send someone to go check it out still waiting!!! seems like the car is at a dealership

Hmmm they stole my friends car exactly like that one some years ago in hartenbos after the bank gaurenteed check was fslse..."sold it for R65 000 that time" was mint condition...was tuned to 327is....was last seen by him in gp but he could not catch the oke due he was in hyundai bakkie...

If u get vin..give it through...maby i can ask my friend if he stil have the vin..

What is it with them wanting a deposit before you even see the car!?

And, so many people fall for that lame scam! A 325iS may not be easy to come by at a good price these days but they are out there!

My brother just bought a white one but it cost him R85 000. However, the seller gave him enough time to check out the car and make an offer. A genuine dealer/seller has no story or drama. They want to sell and if the car is straight, it will sell itself.

Genuine sellers do not harass people for any money until the buyer is happy and proper paperwork is on order!

An iS in the sub 100k region will require a fair amount of work.

Recent prices have sky rocketed, with clean ones selling in excess of 200k.

Heard someone talk about 2 low mileage minters that was sold for 500k a piece by Dada's in benoni. (Dont know if this is fact or urban legend).

Ur right...but it was bored to max..what equevelent a close ammount of a 2700cc enjin

The e30 325is sa version was sepose to be badge 327is due its displacement..but that never happend.

That enjin sound is the best bmw sound u can have... no other bmw after that had the same sound ...non i heard tho..

"bored to the max" these engines can go to 3.1l on the 3l M3 e36 crank.
The 325iS was always the 325iS and was never going to be anything else. Just like the 525e had the 2.7l motor but was still 525e.

That's an urban legend perpetuated by so many people without proof... just like the mythical 4 door 325is
