BMW 320d SEAT MAKING NOISE HISSING SOUND

HI ALL EXPERTS

My car 320d 2010 model is making a hissing sound near the seat when ever i sit on it almost like air is been released somewhere any idea what could be wrong ? a quick fix ? before i take it in to bmw

Maybe the air in the sponge of the seat is escaping through the stitching when you sit down? or is it there constantly while driving?

when ever i sit on it it is constantly there when i get off it takes a while before it goes away when my wife sits on it does not do that at all btw i weigh 65kg and she 42kg

In that case, are you sure the sound is coming from the seat? :mmm:

Yes i am quite certain as it only happens when i sit on the seat

Do you have the sports seats or something like that, that has lumbar support? Not to sure if the e90's have this but on the e46 sport seats have a lumbar support that can be inflated/deflated, and if your e90 has this there might be a leak in this causing the sound. (This of course is wild guess)
