Hi Guys

I'm new to this forum, and require some aadvice from those of you who may know the answers to the questions I have.

I'm looking at trading in my VW POLO 1.6 for a 2008 BMW 320d A/T M-Sports. The kms of the car is 96 000kms, however it was extremely well looked after.

Can you tell me if this car has any issues or if its troublesome? Is it heavy maintenance?

I'm quite keen on the car, as I love BMW's.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

hey, i drive a 2007 320d Msport AT.
very nice car indeed!
the Msport cars will need care when taking certain driveways and curbs as the underside of the front bumper is VERY easy to scratch.
Cant talk for the 2008 but the 2007 has major turbo lag. you can floor it before the robot turns to be ready in time ;-)
but when it goes it goes strong. Aswesome car!

Hi budy best decision you will ever make. Service at Ross and Duncan will cost you about 2.5k all OEM parts.

You can even order some parts by some members on the forum for chaeper if you do not go the Maintenace plan way.

Awesome car, just test drive it and you will be hooked.

Hi man, you cant go wrong, I got a 2005 E90 BMW 320D, its lovely, a little noisey cuase of the diesel engine, but silent inside, and the turbo pulls nice, very light on the highway, but dam heavy when driving in the area, guess I have a heavy foot, but overall, I love it ,

Hi guys

I bought a 2006 320d M Sport, 109000km and now have 128000 km on the clock. The best choice i have ever made. Very seldom that you get power and economy. Have not had a days problems with the car. Been driving to Joburg and trips to plett. What a pleasure. Steptronic gearbox awesome.

Can anyone tell me what kw and nm my 2006 pushes out? everyone seems to have their own ideas.

Thanx

Check the Vin number and ask at BMW to confirm or you can use the sites posted on the Forum for confirmation

They all say 120kw but it actually should "only" deliver 115kw due to the "bad fuel" (low quality fuel package most cars are equipped with from BMW)

Anyway.... if you need more ooompf, just ask

hi guys,

I'm considering buying a 2008 320d msport thats currently still on motorplan and will be till august 2014. Is there any way of doing a performance upgrade that wont affect the motorplan?

Just service the car and enjoy every KM.
Oh and the heavy maintenance will be your Rear Tyres
