BMW 20 point check buying advice

Hey guys...hoping you can help me out

Basically I am buying a 2nd hand 135i coupe (2012) model. It's a private sale and I have checked for any comments and relevant service history from BMW. Everything came up clean.

I would like to know whether it is necessary to send the car for a 20 point BMW check before purchasing?

Still in motorplan? if so I would recommend taking it in or having the motorplan transfer check done before finalizing the deal, you don`t want to land up having signed for the car and they find SW etc and refuse the motorplan transfer.
Just my 2 cents, good luck and remember pics!

SW? So does BMW have to approve the motor plan transfer? Does this not happen automatically? The car is still in motor plan. Is the 20 point check necessary?

SW = Software, nope you have to take it in and have it transfered, cost Is roughly R1300, they will do a check of the car and need your ID book and drivers license.

and if there is any fault, you have to pay out of your pocket for repairs before the motorplan is re-instated. (or so the ruling is)
