BMW 116i

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about getting a demo 116i auto (2013).As with most this one doesn't come with all those nice extra's.

I wanted to know what can I add to the interior/exterior? besides the leather seats and rims I was told they could put on for me.

Alot of the electronic bits I was told could not be added as it has to be ordered from the factory brand new.

Hi bro, I have a 2013 F21 116i. Theres not much you can add electronically I dont think if its already manufactured at factory I stand to be corrected because mine was also at factory but could not add certain things as it was made already at least that what I was told.

I dont know if you can add xenons but if you could I would save on the rims and put on xenons the rims you can always get later the lights are awesome on the F20 especially the ice white angel eyes that come with xenons, plus xenons are like 10-12k i think. I got a set of the rims that come with the sportline second hand for 4k so if you look around you'll find for much cheaper than 25k.

You should get the spec sheet and post it up see what you getting. The leather and auto box are great extras already.

I was told the same so i'm assuming they're telling the truth.I'm not sure if I can add xenons but I did request that they give me a list of things I can actually add to the car.

Where did you find those rims? Gumtree? or the forums.

I have the spec sheet lying around at home somewhere when i find it i'll post it.

I have the spec sheet lying around at home somewhere when i find it i'll post it.

I got the rims from this place on the R24 highway called Monte Carlo Mags and Tires on your way to O.R Tambo always buy my rims from them always do good deals trade ins etc. If BMW can give you a list of things you can add great that helps tons. Trust me auto box is awesome and with leather you'll be happy I assume no sunroof etc but one can live without those things lol.

it's a 2013 116i steptronic with 3000km on the clock.
- professional radio
- bluetooth kit
- media interface
- leather seats (At my expense)
- Multi-function steering wheel

For 280k. Sound like a good deal?

I like function over forms, so the cosmetic stuff play second fiddle to the practical stuff for me.

The items I would really miss, are the multi function steering wheel (which you already have), and the climate control.
Cruise control is nice if you travel long distances often and absolutely have to keep it at 128km/h. I wouldn't miss mine that much, but I like it.

The F20's xenon lights are a amazing , I know from my moms 125i , they follow the road when you turn aswell!

Bud I miss my cruise control so much I dont have it in my F21. I live in JHB so Auto was very important hate clutching in traffic and MFS is also a must I agree.

The car comes with the basic aircon heater system no dual zone climate but I have come from the dual zone to the basic one havent really missed it. Cruise control however I do miss.
