Blouberg Historics Parade down Marine drive

ROAD CLOSURES 2 FEBRUARY (early evening along Marine Parade)

Tomorrow evening from +- 18h30 - 19h30, there will be a parade of the vehicles taking part in this weekend's Cape South Easter Historics Racing event.

The parade will start at Marine Circle, Blouberg and go up as far as Shell Road (just before Doodles) from 18h30 - 19h30.

Beach Boulevard will be open but no access from Marine Drive to Beach Boulevard from Marine Circle until Shell Road. Anybody parked in the beach parking areas (sea side of Marine Drive) from 18h00 will have to stay there until the parade is finished.

To anyone coming down to spectate, please keep things tidy and respect the privacy of the residents in the area.

Just had a look on www.wpmc.co.za for details about the historic racing this weekend. First off, I can't find any details about the entry fees and secondly, this new site is really slow... or is it just me?

Website is a bit slow and untidy....

This I got from our local newspaper (Tabletalk);
"Entry is R80 a day or R120 for a weekend pass. School children under 16 pay R20, and children under 12 enter free. Tickets are available in advance from the club office".
