Wats the best way to get the chrome surounds of my grills black? take it to a panel beater let them spray it or can i just buy black grills? and is there any cost difference btween the methods

vinyl, costs like R50 and whatever your time costs

you could also paint yourself, pretty easy, and cheap, and if you take your time it will come out well

vinyl wont chip like paint.

best would be obv ordering a black plastic set, but that can cost up to like 1K.

I took mine to BMW's panel shop to get sprayed. It cost R100.

Buying a set will be over R1200. About a year ago they were R800

its an e87 1 series but i might just take it to a panel shop as carbon suggested

I sprayed mine myself, so did some other members here and if you take time, it comes out very cool. Prime, colour and clear lacquer. :thumbsup: But then, it you can come right for R100 or even R200, do it professionally. :thumbsup:
