If i remember correctly it is DS1 bulbs. one on each side.

Best would be to check with your VIN number here: http://realoem.com/bmw/select.do

Thanks for the reply VR
I called violet electronics and they have the DS1 bulbs for R450 a pair for the 6000k so will get it from them

Just wanted to make sure that they are DS1 and not DS2 but the link you provided says that it is DS1

sorry to hijack...

Karsh, if i use the Realoem site for my vin, it confuses me more.., I find more than one headlight housing for halogen and xenon, so not sure which one i have.

the LCI e60 apparently had halogen and Xenons in the projector housing. I took the covers off and still am not able to make whether i have xenons or not.

If i consider the colour of the light.., its the normal off white, it does have the level adjustment, which moves up and down everytime i start the car. I want to change my bulbs to the led rings and either white xenon( if i have them), or just the pure white halogen(if i have those). I tried to take pics but theres no space, i might have to remove the headlight....
