BF3 vs Modern Warfare3

Ok, so which one is the best, in single player mode only?

So, i got MOW3 on my pc and been playing it for the last fews days, must say the story line is pretty good and it has nice special affects. I was a huge fan of the last 2 episodes and still thinks my best game of 2010 was modern warfare 2.

Then i just got BF3 on my PS3 last night and started playing it, oh my hat, it feels like im in a real war, being interrogated by a guy that looks exactly the same like a actor i saw b4 in some war movie, dont know the name of movie, awesome special effects, the language of army guys is so realistic. So, im playing for about a hour, and get into a jet with my army buddy, and i hav a feeling exactly the same i had when i watched the movie Topgun, that has got to be the coolest scene i hav ever had in any army game ever played. So therefore my current score:

BF3 1 - 0 MOW3

Oh and if you do score, you need too specify the reason as well.

BF3 2 - MW3 0

BF3 has a new improved gaming engine with better features and graphic detail. MW3 is using the same old engine as Black Ops.

Both are extremely buggy though, which spoils it, especially online play.

BF3 is just better imo

Only half way through MW3 now, haven't played BF3 yet but will get to it soon enough.

IMO Battlefield Bad Company 2 was one of the most engrossing war game experiences I've had, so if BF3's gameplay is as good it should pwn MW3, now that the GFX is so much better also

Gonna play through both and let you know what I think.

I have not tired BF3 yet as I object to EA spying measures, but MW3 is a joke of a story.

No sense of realism in the game at all, Russia invades America in Mw2 with no miltary build up what so ever and no one see's it comming.

Now in MW3 they invade the rest of the world, wow did not know russia had 10 million Soliders and enough of a logisicts train to move them.....

Sorry the plot has more holes in it than a cheese grater.

still need to get my BF3 to work.....MW3 had one or two cool levels i.e. submarine one - however the storyline can be easily anticipated.

I like BF3 more, although I haven't played the campaign that far, mostly online, which is excellent!

MW3... Well, the stroryline is interesting, and I love being different people all the time, but it is very unrealistic. But then again, it is a game :=): Graphics can't compare to MW3, realism aswell. BUT there is some really cool scenes and effects in the game.

BF3 is better for me, but they both pretty short. My fave games for the year are Dues Ex and Batman Arkham City.

Gonna give Deus Ex a shot next, then a couple of other games before I get to Skyrim (which is probably gonna take up all my gaming time for the foreseeable future :rollsmile: )

I playd for 3 1/2 hrs now, 2 cool scenes, jet and tanks (awesome graphics)

Just started with MOW3...hectic but fun. Tried it with a proper PS3 shotgun that you can interchange to rifle and pistol...like...but the gun becomes heavy after awhile and i switch back to the normal controler :thumbs:

I'd have to give this one to Battlefield, hands down! MW3 just feels too outdated once you've had a go at BF3...

I'd go with BF3, I have it on my PC & PS3 and must say this game is intense all the way hey. I feel like getting the whole army outfit including helmet when I play this game :rollsmile:

Played both for a bit, my vote goes towards BF3. To me, it's just a better refined game - both have bugs, but the BF3 seems more realistic to me and puts you in that "I'm in a war" type of situation.

BF3 is awesome, I clocked MW3 in the week, story was awesome because it left off where MW2 ended, but graphically and gameplay wise BF3 kills it dead...twice!
