:YesNo: I can see fights happening with this one.

I for one dont agree with the list - They have forgotten S54B32 - it looks like some ones opinion and not that of the masses. the only one to have won and award on that list is the S65 V8.

Yes they missed out one of the best engines out of the E46 M3.

The older e39 5 series had some brilliant engines

Not mention of the E30 engine out of the E30 M3

The first line for the #1 engine is: "This engine technically was never in a BMW"
What kind of list even is this?
Side Note: How is it possible to leave to S14 of a "Best BMW Engines" list?

I feel the M54B25 should have been. The 325i motor. In essence it's the same motor from the E36 into the E46 AFAIK, vanos being different. Pushed 141kw/245nm from the E36 into the E46

How can the N54 not be there, the next 2JZ as its being touted...:smashScreen:

The N54 has won five straight International Engine of the Year awards, and three straight Ward's 10 Best Engines awards.

Agreed. N54 is by far one of the best engines ever produced. Hell, I might even say it's the best engine ever!

The article clearly states the following and I quote "So let’s take a look at some of the greatest BMW engines of all time.

Not the absolute greatest but SOME (an unspecified amount or number of/used to refer to someone or something that is unknown or unspecified.)
