Really impressed with the scaling they have done on BF4. Performance wise it seems really close to Bf3, maybe even better. My 2 680s are scaling much better than in Bf3(90% apposed to 55%) so might not have to buy that 780. On the gameplay, it seems a lot slower than Bf3 where more of a conservative approach is required. Something that is irking me at the moment is that black screen before spawn which stops quick spawning. No more revive trains which will see a huge change in competitive play.
Vehicle wise:
The little chopper is really manouvarable which is great.
The tanks seem a bit quicker and again with limited shots before reload, another huge change in competitive play.
The LAV or Infantry fighter seems less focused on Armor vs armor and more on an infantry based vehicle. Another change for competitive play.
I'm really hoping BF4 goes 5v5 and not 8v8 as I think it will be a much quicker game and more popular with spectators.
On a side note: One of the local teams has started a petition to bring ESL (Electronic Sports League) to South Africa which would include us in online tournaments with prizes up to $120 000. If you guys have the time please sign the petition. This would mean a great deal towards myself and other gamers wanting to compete against the best in the world.

Surprisingly South Africa hosts one of the biggest Battlefield tournaments in the world, namely the Do Gaming Championship at rAge. Prizes for this year was R20k cash and 8 Alienware pc's.
South Africa did compete in the Nations Cup last year and we placed 4th IIRC. So we have the skill now we just need the backing
