Aux but no USB, will this kit give me USB?

So I'm about to get my e90 330i and I know it has aux but doesn't have the usb and I know like my previous car it didn't have aux but if I pulled the factory radio out I could manually connect one so hoping BMW is the same.

So my question is would this work?

Doubt it. OEM retrofit requires programming at dealer to work. Im sure this would need also?? Can't be simply plug and play - i dont see any "control boxes" in the pics.

OEM retrofit kit about R2.5k i believe + programming costs.

I know there is some coding that needs to be done from reading around.

Well just got a price from SMG Cape Town @ R3061 inc vat for the kit. Not bad considering the cheapest I've seen online is $450.

Nope, the dongle is the USB Bluetooth adapter, the hole in the end takes a 3.5mm male to male cable. One in the USB dongle, one in the aux port. Allowing you to stream music to the dongle via Bluetooth to the aux port. I'm doing it in my car

As far as the R300 unit is concerned, how does it all connect up? I currently run an AUX cable from in my arm rest and then put my phone on the top of the ashtray, so would be interested in something I could hide away and neaten it all up a bit. And that unit looks the business.
