This past week I got a sms that Autotrix was having a dyno night and we decided we would take a swing passed and see what the place has to offer...
Finally arriving around 7-30ish there was a decent crowd but not many cars in the line, I parked for a while and let the car cool before heading onto the rollers, Ashley from Autotrix operated the dyno and on the first attempted run with 2 people in the boot the car developed wheel spin, with an additional passenger in the back seat and with me in the front passenger seat we managed to lay down a respectable first run...
Ashley then did the second run and it yielded a slightly better results... overall I was very happy with the numbers and state of tune...
there also happened to be a Valencia orange 1M and an M135i or 2 that ran on the rollers that same night,
the 1M made 309Kw
the M135's made 277 and 290kw respectively...
*** the 1 M135 did "break" the dyno as well.. it refused to give a reading for 4 consecutive runs, after the dyno was restarted it did manage to get itself working again but by then the car was heat soaked but still delivered a very respectable power number***
I never managed to catch the names or pics of the 1M and M135 owners… they said something about remaining anonymous…
Thanks Autotrix for the hospitality…
