The way I see it is that it will be a better advertisement if we had a few events with lots of cars rather than many events with only a handful of cars. So far most of the KZN runs have been flops and there are only a few of us that make a concerted effort to attend.....the rest just say they will attend but fail to do so....they are closet Fanatics!

So instead of having more frequent events that would most likely also be disappointing, best would be to have a few well planned events were we get a proper turnout. I for one, wouldnt like to end up eating waffles on my own....:rollsmile: (couldnt resist that Shaun)

Cool my bru. You have a lot more experience with the runs. Effective Advertising is'nt cheap. Not sure what sort of advertising budget we have. We could however get free media coverage if we do more positive community activities :idea: If we can get only a few members that is all we will need to grow or increase our presence????

Bruce, the breakfast runs are the actually advertising...people see us on the road and will hopefully want to join in future ....no actual advertising in newspapers / magazines etc

most people just mow their lawns and boring kak like that on the weekend should not take much to get them to join :rollsmile:

The runs are excellent but that won't enable us to media exposure. If we do a run to a motoring event then it would be easy for us to get media coverage.
We have to get more involved with communities. A fun run we could do at the end of every month if possible??
