Would have enjoyed putting my baby cakes on the line but didn't have enough time to change the gear box and diff on Howick :tease: Eish Heven it a M3

i have an e90 box yes but 3.38 is not too short for a 5 speed :rollsmile:

if you serious about this im not sure my 5 speed will be best because its not as strong as the ones they use in the 330i im not sure how long it will last with an extra 50Nm, but then again i have not seen any failures with supercharged 323i

If you keeping the auto diff then its advisable to go with a six speed box as it will be undrivable on the freeway and you lose alot of top end

the 330i has a 3.38 diff in auto it will not rev too high on the freeway... a six speed will be better but its not necessary... it will rev to 3412 at 120kph... if it had a 3.91 it will rev way to high
