Asking for opinions..

Hi all.

I own a 2004 E46 320i Sport, the 2.2 model. I have owned it since 2010 and am the 2nd owner. I have to sell it as we're leaving the country. This car has served us well and I love driving it, sad to have to sell but one of those things.

The car has a few issues, this is the reason for my post. They are:

Body has some scratches and little dings. No accident damage though, accident free.
Driver side window doesn't go down using the button but does if the key is used.
Valve cover gasket needs replacing, leaks oil.
Drivers seat has a hole due to wear and tear.
Passengers sunshade is gone, broke off a few years ago.
Windscreen wiper pump doesn't work.
Partial service history.
Car has 235k on the clock..


What I am trying to figure out is what I can ask for it as, what the opinions out there are. I was thinking around R30k but I may be way off either direction..

I'm curious. Those motors are really nice, and I've seen them go well over 400 000km

The motor is still strong, pulls really nicely still - one reason why I love the car and have never thought about selling it. Till now..

320i FL with mtech1 package.

30k is bit low imho.

You should do minimum 40k with the current state (unless you want to sell it fast, then 30k). I mean it looks good with some minor battle scars. Maybe add interior pics too.

There is a guy trying to sell a 318i wagon auto, with R2k behind in license fees, and some other issues, FAR worse than yours.

Definitely worth more than 30k... I'd put it up for around 40k

I would take it off your hands for 30k, but then again, I wouldn't want to do a fanatic down. I think it's worth more.
