As per topic title, I'm looking for some reviews on this model.

Possibly considering something like this as a family car. Yay or nay?

Mom drives a 2.0D. Love that car!

Only thing I dont like is the seats, too flat. Suppose I'm used to bucket type seats, but otherwise a fantastic car

It is a real beautiful family car, I have one for sale as I need to invest in a property. it is a white X3 2012 (new Shape) all extras with very low mileage and full motorplan. Inbox me if you are interested.

I have the x35i and it's an awesome piece of kit. Fairly quick for an SUV. Prices have fallen badly on the used market so dont buy it new. Some bargains out there. 35 is a bit heavier on juice so could be affecting the sales.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've also noted the flat seats in a couple that I looked at in dealerships. It is nice to know there is the sports seats option.

I suppose if I had to look in earnest, the question would be what powertrain?

Diesel: fuel efficient (2.0D probably best, 3.0D because you can, lol)

Petrol: relatively fuel efficient, but the small motors sound like sewing machines, so then I would lean to the 35i.

I drove the 130i again this morning after a 2 week sleep in the garage, what a car :joy:
