Anyone done the BMW M Experiences?

I've done the M Intensive at Kyalami in the last year. Choose your car in the morning and it's yours for the rest of the day. Some theory and alot of practicals and at the end of the day you get to go hard on the track. Great instructors. Great experience. You really learn alot. Well worth it.

Let's just say I got to drive a Comp Pack M3 harder than I ever would my own M3 CP.

it is definitely worth it , my prize for outdragging every body on that day was to be taken a couple of rounds around a M4 dtm and then driving the car myself for a couple of laps. Don't think I will get to drive something like that soon again.

I went on this basic M course (the one you highlighted) in 2018.
I also went on the Jaguar High Performance one day course in Fourways in Dec 2019.
The Jag experience was more fun to be honest - especially since I was given an F-Type 3.0 V6S to play with and there were only a few people on the course with me.
Let me put it this way, after going on the Jag course I was inspired to buy a proper sports car (which I ended up doing).

Thanks guys :) seems I need to save up for this. Any specific one I should look at?

Heart wants to buy an M2 but brain rather wants to scratch the itch while I wait for the new 2 series.

If not BMW, which track day would you recommend.

I’ve done the one at Zwartkops which is a combo of theory, safety, track and skid pan. Definitely an exhilarating experience. The only issue I had is that the straight is not long enough :)

I just booked for the m advanced course.

I have been delaying this for too long.

Thanks for the link

I've done a corporate Jaguar one where they gave us basically all of their lineup to drive around, F type SVR, F Pace SVR, some E Pace's and the new EV.

I've also done the merc one where they give you an E63 but that was many years ago.

Is there any way of calling to find out what vehicles they have on that specific course? or are they standard?

Keen on checking out the one in KZN - Dezzi , has any Fanatic been to one this side? any good?

It's better than the Swartkops 1, Kyalami 1 would be best to be honest.

Much appreciated! would look for a date next year. Will sit the Dezzi one out.

Do they allow spectators ?
Keen to take a drive to see the scene.

With Covid at the moment, Dezzi is pretty sticky with spectators, they do have monthly open days, but they're on a Wednesday, usually.
