Any bmw E3's left in South Africa?

Hi guys, I've been looking into the E3's lately and they are beautiful with the right stance and bumpers so I was wondering if there are any left in the country? maybe buy one, who knows

Yeah there are a few. Saw a 2800 in great condition up for sale for like R20k not so long ago.

They aren't worth much, there are some tip top ones that show up at JHB concourse.

I own one, a 3,0l si manual. Unfortunately its been sitting for 10 years, has minimal body rust but is pretty rare cause its a manual, and was imported here by a Belgium diplomat. I have dreams of sorting it out and bagging it, but its gonna cost more than its worth right now. Same colour as this one.

Those big wheels and radically lowered ride height just doesn't do it for me.

Besides, here in the RSA you will get hung up on the speed bump at the very first mini circle you encounter! :crazylaugh:

I live in KZN Queensburgh and near where i live theres a 3.0s parked off,not sure what the guy is doing with it though.

That would be awesome thanks. Yeah I was just looking at that today, it looks so good. There's a member on stanceworks that did an engine bay tuck on his e28 that I would think would look so good in the E3. I would daily that E3 with that m30.

Saw this at a fuel station in Roodepoort...owner has quite a collection of BM’s....
I think it’s a 2800 with a 3.5l motor from a 635 CSi...think it might be for sale...

There were a couple at Angela's Picnic this past Sunday in JHB. I have parts of an E3 (just the nose), tail lights are from early E12, motor is M10B20 and gearbox is ZF 3-speed auto(like 2002/2000/320 e21/ 520 E12), rest of the car is Glas LoL
