Another airbag light query.

When i start the 318, the airbag light will stay on for around 3 or so minutes and then goes off. It will stay off, until I start the car again, and then the whole process repeats itself. This only started this morning. Any ideas?

might be the slipring thats inside the steering wheel, that goetes that we fiddled with when we changed them.

My guess too, but that was a few months ago. Also why is it only for a very short time. Weird
